I am 60. The arthritis in my legs and feet is causing my whole body to stiffen and weaken. It is time for me to develop and practise a regular exercise routine. For the firt time, it is something that will produce dramatic results. It has also become necessary. I will draw from the yoga I did in my 20s, start out lying on my back on the floor doing deep breathing. Raise the legs 7 times or in multiples of 7. Make the leg raises a 3 prong thing. Raise legs from side to side. Move and stretch. Improve flexibility. Increase strength. It is time to do this and continue it the rest of my life. I began April 11, 2006.
